The prizes of liquids in Andalucia can sometime create laughter.
Yesterday morning when we started on our "Birthday Cava-walk" along the beaches, Fuengirola river looked like the photo above. Brown, dirty and due to heavy rain during the night spread long over it´s normal banks. I don´t think anybody would have used the water for anything, but you never know.
Water in bottles are more expensive than beer down here.
As a comparrison to the image above we found this information outside a beach restaurant at Carihuela Beach between Torremolinos and Benalmadena.
Coffee and Cake 1 Euro more than Coffee and Brandy. Maybe the river water is used to produce the local Brandy.
