It is Easter, It is ABC Wednesday and what else can be more symbolic than DiegoVelasquez painting Christ Crucified from 1632 as we saw at the Prado Museum in Madrid in 2004.
I is for INRI.Next shot is from Aker Brygge, Oslo taken yesterday. Reflections in the windows of the Investment and Insurance company Storebrand, and the sculpture by Marit Wiklund ”Utferdstrang” in the Old Dock close to the bridge over to Tjuvholmen, (the new renovated Industrial area)

Every time I read your blog the contrast of our environments always strikes me. I feel you live in such a cultural place, ye here we are in the middle of the moors! Yet we are both passionate about art! I guess it provokes a search for inspiration and creativity.
Great post!
Happy Easter!
Ibsen er ett veldig godt bidrag under I! :)
Jeg liker også maleriet ditt. Sterke og dramatiske farger.
God påske til deg også! :)
Sukk:|
Påskeklem fra meg:)
Mange gode ideear med i i her!

Please visit My abc W-day, with I for IOS , quess what's "Ios" ?
Have a wonderfull ABC wednesday, Greetings from JoAnn and "I.."
I love the reflections in the second picture - and the fourth, too. I really love photos of reflections.
Some splendid "I" examples are here. Always impressed with your posts when I come here.
The Rocky Mountain Retreat
If Ibsen wrote Per Gynt in Italy it may be because he was homesick. Gynt is such a Nordic work. (I like it very much.)
Great I post. The reflections were beautiful. I especially liked the sculpture, it made me smile.
Very Interesting "I" post.
:-)
I always learn something from your posts...
Hi ArneA! Thanks for showing me some of the interesting places and things you have seen.
All good and interesting I's.
Interesting "I" you are sharing today.
A great post - many interesting I's and images.
Fantastic pictures
Great choices, but expecially the Firebird music. It was one of the first pieces I ever played in a true orchestra. Great horn parts, lots of fun to play - and listen to as well. Stravinsky is great.
Very appropriate INRi. . . "it is finished" would also fit. May your Easter be a joyous one in knowing we already received the best gift.
Interesting choices !
"Inferno"...Isn'it a drama of Strindberg, too ?
Sometimes ,at school, we study the famous play of Ibsen ,"maison de poupée".
I enjoy nordic litterature!
Miss Yves
The guy in the water by Aker Brygge gets my vote - he must have got one too many...
