Light a candle for the victims at Ålesund tonight.
This Friday we are heading for a weekend with old friends from Ålesund, Sykkylven and Trondhjem. We gather at
Bjorli where the Outdoor Bar will be open when Helge is playing
Bebop and the sun hopefully will be nice to all.
Trusting Kirsti´s games will be arranged and played just for fun and fellowship. The winner takes it all.
Yesterday I once more had to have a
Photo-Dynamic Therapy (PDT) at the National Hospital to hold my
Skin Cancer under control. My head without hair is sun damaged due to the immunosuppressive medication necessary to avoid transplanted organ rejection. In the days to come I will most possibly look like a pirate.

Sorry to hear of your treatment side effects BUT you do look like Johnny Depp so that isnt all bad.. as always, the Mrs looks lovely and the sky isnt bad either .. :-D

Skal tenne et lys i kveld...
Vi har opplevd litt av det samme her også i litt mindre omfang. Vi er naboer til Hatlestad terasse hvor det gikk et ras 14. september 2005 som tok 3 liv. Mange bekjente ble rammet og man kan egentlig ikke forestille seg hvordan det oppleves før man er midt oppe i det selv. Bergen kommune tok tak i dette "nye problemet" i ettertid og hele området vi bor i ble kartlagt med tanke på nye ras. Huset vårt står (hvis) trygt, men min tante sitt hus som er litt nedenfor meg, har de skrevet "bekymringmelding" for.
Man tror slike ting ikke kan skje i Norge. Satt med en uvirkelighetsfølelse da jeg stod opp om morgene og fikk servert tragedien i Ålesund med frokostnyhetene. Det er slik som man ser på Tv og som skjer lang borte og som man nesten - dessverre - glemmer så alt for fort.
Mine tanker går virkelig til dem i Ålesund som er rammet.

Vi tenner lys for Ålesund i kveld og tenker på alle som er rammet av tragedien.
Ønsker deg en god tur og trivelig stund med dine venner. Jeg tror sannelig du snart må bytte hatten ut med piratsjerf. Kledelig. Hadde jeg ikke visst bedre så hadde jeg tatt deg for en biker. Men så var det de ullstrømpene og nikkersen da....

I think you would also look good with a hard hat with cows horns attached like a viking, but then you would need a wooden boat.
