B is for Both

First Photo taken with my iPhone 3G.
Second Photo taken with my Canon Digital IXUS 960 IS.
ABC Wednesday = B has to accept Both.

But another important event took place on this day (july 29) here in Norway.
The Battle of Stiklestad in 1030 (called Olsok) is the most important day for the birth of Christianity in Norway.
B is for Battle of Stiklestad.

Very interesting and you could add a third B for beautiful roses.

I would be hard-pressed to tell much difference. Phone-cameras have certainly improved! The color, especially of the leaves, might be a bit more true in the Canon shot, but they are both good!

Nice addition - I had forgotten that one (retiring in shame)

I love the camera shot one. More vibrant somehow! Although, the flowers make a beautiful subject in any case...

Your roses are BEE-OOTIFULL~! I've been waiting the last few days for mine to blossom - I've had 3 blossom so far and anxiously await the others. Great post and a good photo of the battle, too! :D

In fact, I think both pics were beautiful, but the first one (iPhone)seems ever sharper than the second one...? (I am a secret admireror of Apple products)...

It's amazing how good a photo can be from a mobile phone, isn't it? My phone has the same camera hardware in it as our first digital camera!

They are both good!

Isn't it amazing what good photos a camera phone can take? I rarely use mine, but my grandkids use theirs all the time.

Thanks for the link on this significant battle. I attended St. Olaf College in Minnesota my first two years, but never knew much about St. Olaf other than his conversion of the Norwegians to Christianity. The legends surrounding his death sound a little like the story of King Arthur.

Blooms and battles...
I did not know about St. Olaf. I will do some reasearch.
Thanks for the inspiration.

I wish my iPhone could do that. Maybe it is a user issue.... Beautiful!
