Well your first shot made me smile.
And, I can see that boxer profile in the tree stump too, comes from having an over active imagination.

You asked what a cock horse is...
The rhyme, goes
"Ride a cock horse to Banbury Cross to see a fine lady on a white horse".
It may relate to Lady Godiva, who suposedly rode naked through country!

Enjoy your week

I enlarged the "boxer", and he shows up beautifully! Such a doggy expression.
The other shot is fun, too.

The first shot brought a big smile to my face - and yes, I ``see'' the boxer.

Loved your comment on my Ice Spy post - no bourbon, but look for the next series of macro shots, titled ``Coca Cooler'' in exactly eight hours' time!!

The first is humourous and the second, very well observed, an odd shot indeed

For et flott artig og koselig bilde. Kjempefarver!

Great catch.

The boxer is awesome! Mother Nature at her finest. The first one made me smile, also... and made me thirsty for a brew, though American beers are no match... not even close.

I really like the bottome one. It does look like a boxer or a bulldog. Great shot.

When I saw your stump and you said boxer, I thought boxer as in the boxing ring. My father-in-law, many years ago was a bantam-weight boxer. (Many many years ago, as he would be 106 if he were living.) I see the boxer dog now that others hint that that is what you were indicating.

So we both have a stump with a face, and the last of your row of figures has almost the same expression as my stump's companion.

Think it is a great boxer! I like that deep shadow it made also. For some reason, I thought I had visited your site entry before and was just checking back as I have had a busy last three days.

I like unique photos such as you present.

Also posted below on the weekend blog.
