This ABC Wednesday the letter required is
LIt could then be very easy to say
L is for
L = 50 in Roman Numeral, but why was
L chosen as 50.
Possibly it starts with the Etruscan symbol for 10 = X where the half was adopted for 5 = V, or was it the opposite way that V symbolize the hand (with 5 fingers), and 10 = X is two hands.
L has the same shape (more straight) and could be the symbol of half C = 100/2 = 50.
Anyone who believe in this theory?
