The raspberry stems are manicured and made ready for the season. At the end og august we have had about 30 kg from these prickly canes.
The countess can rest after the first spring effort this year. The sun is burning. The trash put in sacks. I am at my favorite location, 15 C in the shadow.

Så delig å se at sommeren har begynt for dere.
Vi hadde helgen i trøndelag, noe som var en kjølig opplevelse. Da var det deiligå komme tilbake til bærum og 16 grader i ettermiddag.

JA!! Ser dere har hatt de samme aktiviteter som oss denne helga. Og det er ikke sant som Truls skriver (eller jo...) litt kaldt har det vært, men i solveggen i ly fra vinden er det ikke så aller værst skjønner du. Men vi lever i håpet om at tempraturen stiger.
Og den sjokoladen på det øverste bildet...., er den oppspist.... fro gud så lyst jeg fikk på akkurat slike nå :-)

I think raspberries are my favourite fruit. Lovely.
I envy your rhubarb as ours has quit coming back. I should put in some raspberries. Yum. I also envy your temperatures as today we saw rain, snow, hail and sunshine within twenty mnutes time. It is cold.
We had one really nice day in the low 80's about a week ago and then winter returned! Looks like you have a wonderful place to enjoy the summer and "pass the raspberries, please!" We grew raspberries when I was a child and I loved them right off the vine.
