First editions - treasures in library

During the German occupation of Norway (1940 - 1945) many books were banned because the nazi administration saw them as provocations. Frithjof Sælens book about the small seal Snorre, polar bear Brummelabb, hungry grampus Glefs and the kind walrus uncle Bart was seen an an allegory of little Norway, the threat from USSR and the attack from Nazi Germany.
A small book, but sold in 12500 copies during four weeks in 1941 before banned.
The first edition of the Norwegian Donald Duck from 1948 is also to be found in the bookshelves. Any similarities between these publications can only be "> 60 years old".

Have a nice weekend whatever you are reading.
